End of Life Crisis

A week ago, I was eating lunch and saw a family (mom + dad + late teenage years girl) on the next table just finishing up their lunch and leaving.
Nothing special right? Wrong.
60+ years mom still believes she is hip and with-it by dressing as a 15 year old girl. I’m not farting [...]

Dude, Where’s My Time?

So I’m up in Boston for the weekend for 2 reasons. 1) Bring back the last of my stuff to VA. 2) Help D move from Boston to her new home 2 hours away.

Wednesday the 11th: Drove 2 hours to Northern VA to look for a place to live. Had sushi with a friend.
Thursday the 12th: Looked at some more places in N. VA. [...]

My Body, a.k.a. The Orchestra

OK, so I didn’t really want to talk about this, but I will because I can’t really think of a real reason not to.
So last weekend I attended the AMCIS conference in New York City with a former CS professor of mine. I had to make a presentation of a paper a few of [...]

B.S. from The Electoral College

The Founding Fathers created a government out of scratch beautifully, checks & balances still boggle my mind, but they did make some mistakes…honest.

The Electoral College
Not abolishing slavery
Not planning for a two party system

Right now I’m going to talk quickly about the first blunder, The Electoral College.
What do these elections have in common?

John Quincy Adams vs. [...]
