Dude, Where’s My Time?
So I’m up in Boston for the weekend for 2 reasons. 1) Bring back the last of my stuff to VA. 2) Help D move from Boston to her new home 2 hours away.
For a little person, D has an amazing amount of stuff. I hate her. I hate moving. I hate strenuous activity on a solar-flare-hovering-over-my-head-day. I hate smelling bad. I hate her.
So now I have to get a good nights sleep so that I can drive back to VA and not die on the drive down.
On the bright side, I’m missing the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, which I wasn’t going to watch anyway but at least have an excuse for the nosey bastards who may ask me why I missed it. Personally, I could give a fart about MTV’s VMAs for 2 reasons. 1) When was the last time they showed a video? 2) They promote all that is wrong with young culture today by lifting up anorexics up on a pedestal for young girls and boys to imitate.
OK, so the above 2 reasons were quite generic and used by all the non-comformist cool people, but they’re valid in their own regard. Also, no good bands will be performing at the VMAs, so I’m not going to watch. I do remember watching NIN performing a song a few years ago, thats about the extent of my VMA watching in the last 6 or so years I think, who knows.

A few points:
1. You hate me because you smelled bad, I didn’t.
2. You were supposed to get a good night’s sleep, you wrote 2 blog entries.
3. For someone who seems to really hate the VMAs, you at least took the time to check out the bands performing at the VMAs. I didn’t know the VMAs was last Sunday.
4. You forgot the boatload of advertisements they show during the VMA coverage.
5. You also forgot Paris Hilton was there.
6. Thanks for helping me out and crying about it in your blog.
1) Whatever you say Pepe le Pew.
3) Dude, they promote the VMAs on every radio station, non-stop. They listed performing bands, wasn’t interested in any.
5) So?
6) I rule.
