You’ve Got To Admit It’s Getting Better…
…Getting Better All The Time.
So my place is finally going to get some furniture, yes sir, I’ve got a tv stand now too + a computer desk…they’re both still in their boxes, but hey, the complement my co-existing furniture quite well (so far a computer chair, a small three-legged table, and a little file cabinet).
TV gets delivered this Sunday hopefully, I’m tired of watching the same old crap on Winamp TV, their selection is quite limited and you’re lucky if you can find a server that isn’t full, but hey, it’s free.
Had some chinese food at this place tonight, Peking <something> <something>, wish I could remember the name. No biggie, it’s near my place and very good (try the Shrimp with Black Pepper, stupendous). They’ve got pictures of some famous people that have eaten there…Both Bush presidents, Connie Chung, um, some other real famous I can’t remember (I just glanced at the wall and my memory is crap anyway, so back off, I’m not a robot).
Oh yeah, something that made me smile last week. I was going to Barnes and Noble last week (bought the Mars trilogy from Kim Stanley Robinson…Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars…I’ll talk about them some other time, remind me please, they’re amazing books, I’m almost finished with the last one, so close…) and on the walk there from my car I saw this family walking there too. Anyway, saw a young high schooler wearing a Nirvana shirt. Good to know KC still gets some respect from the new generation.
For you young folk, the title is from a Beatles song. They’re way before my time, but I hope I can make an oldie smile. Remind me to buy a Beatles t-shirt.
Respeck!
