My Love Has Finally Been Avenged
Tonight, after oh about 6 years, I have finally finished what I set out to do all those years ago…
I FINISHED FINAL FANTASY VII
Aeris may now rest peacefully for all of eternity, for I have ended Sephiroth’s life, he shall never tear apart anybody’s love again.
It’s about 4am, I spent about 4.5 hours trying to beat Sephiroth (the end boss), thats tonight by the way. 2 nights ago I tried beating him for about 4 hours too, it was a no go.
In my defense, he only killed me once, the rest of the times I faced him the stupid game crashed right in the middle of the freakin’ fight (go fig, it’s a Win95 game trying to run in WinXP). That wouldn’t be so bad, but the only place you’re allowed to save is about an hour before you face Sephiroth. So it took me a while just to get to him after each crash/death.
Why did I decide to take up the game again a couple months ago? after leaving the CDs somewhere in my closet for about 5 years (I played it constantly for the first year, it’s pretty long game). Well, the Final Fantasy VII movie (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children) comes out early next year in the US and it’s set after the game, so obviously I wanted to finish the game.
Now onto finishing Half-Life before starting up Half-Life 2.
