Blog Updates
Did some more updates to the my blog today.
- WP Plugin Manager: This thing is amazing. It keeps track of all my installed plugins for WordPress and allows one-click installations of plugins while checking for updates as well. Anybody using WordPress should have this baby installed. Used this to install the plugin below.
- Spell Checker: Finally found a good spell checker plugin for WordPress. Now my posts should have less spelling errors I hope. It uses the open source Speller Pages for it’s spell checking.

Update 1: I just did a spell check on this post, turns out the spell checker isn’t working, I think it’s due to some server side permissions. I’m going to have to talk to the server administrators to remedy this. Some other day…
Update 2: I posted a comment about the spell checker problem on my web host’s forum yesterday. I didn’t change anything and the problem is fixed/gone today. That was quick and painless, thanks DreamHost. Of course, I made sure to post a detailed error report with screenshots, getting good customer support means being a good customer too.
