Day Before Today
You mean yesterday?
Yesterday was quite a pain, was in the car for about 7 hours total I think. I had to go home because my mom was quite ill, she was pumped full of antibiotics and could barely even talk. So I took the day off from work, picked up my sister from the airport (she flew in from Florida), and we both drove down to see mom at home.
I got into my car to pick up my sister from Dulles and realized I didn’t have the address to pump into my GPS. I called up 411 on my cell phone ($billion dollar charge, thanks Verizon) and got the address for Dulles. 20 minutes later I’m driving into Reagan National (thanks Verizon). 30 minutes after that I’m at Dulles and then an hour later I move half a mile down the highway. I love horrible traffic.
Got home, was there for literally only 2 hours, then had to drive back because I had class at 7pm. I want to marry horrible traffic.
Got back to my place around 10:30pm, was dead tired. Physically, emotionally, mentally. Got up this morning and did not want to get out of bed at all for work. I’m putting in some extra hours today too to make up for yesterday. Bad day to take off too, testing starts next week.
I think I’ll go home for the weekend to see mother again.

So sorry to hear about your mom, T. I hope she gets better soon. Hang in there. You’re a kick-arse programmer. I wouldn’t be worried about testing.
