Is That A Trick Answer?
So it’s been decided, I’m stuck in Northern Virginia for some time longer. I’ve been accepted into a graduate program up here and will be doing Bioinformatics.
Can’t decide what to do in real life? Hate the real world? Love being poor? Dude, go edumacate yourself.
So now that I’m going to be poor, I need to find a roommate. I can stay in my apartment at least until August (soon to be a condominiums) maybe a little longer, so from now until then I need to find a good roomie. Anybody want to live with me?
Going to take some weeks or a month off before I have to start learning and quit working, going to plan a travel-thing, maybe to Japan, who knows. Anybody interested in traveling this year, mid-to-late summer?

That’s so cool that you’re going back to school, if that’s what you mean by ‘edumacate’. Seriously, edumacate? You need to go back to school, TB.
I want to go back to studying too, but I’d have to do it for the right reasons. If I go back now, I’m only wanting to relive my college days and the latter part of my NU days. That’s never happening.
Good luck, TB. I hope Bioinformatics will turn out to be what you really want to do.
Have fun in Japan. I’ll do it next year.
congrats on the program acceptance. a good friend has told me many times about bioinfomatics. sounds, uh, interesting.
see you next week — when are you arriving?
Friday-ish.
Masters or PhD (Pimpin’ Hos Degree)?
Masters, I really don’t want to be in school for 6+ years for a PhD. Dr. TB does sound nice, but still, 6 years minimum (because my background is not in Biology at ALL, all Computer Science), ouch.
