The Phantom, The Ghost Who Walks
I’m currently at work, my first day back. So far my day is totally blowing chunks. To quote Kevin Spacey, “…I know I didn’t always feel this… sedated”. I think I’ll just stay in this weekend and just eat and relax and try and get the jet lag out of my system. Nothing worse than not being able to do anything because you’re tired, but can’t fall asleep.
Shit, I forgot, gotta pick up my family from the airport Sunday and I need to drive home tomorrow to get the bigger car.
I feel like an amputee who is having phantom pains of better times, I wish I wasn’t here. If you work, I know you can relate, first day back always slices into you.
I still miss the people and places back home. Back to listening to Mogwai…
