Automatic Fate
I did a round of updates some weeks ago, I doubt you noticed any difference. I am currently running WordPress 2.0.1 and everything seems to be going smoothly. If anybody noticed any problems and decided to hold your peace…too late now.
Also made a drastic change this morning with my anti-comment spam initiative. I deactivated all but two of my anti-spam plugins, since supposedly this new plugin, Akismet, is the cat’s pajamas, so I’m giving it a shot. I deactivated my WP Hashcash plugin, it’s been in beta for a long time now with no updates plus I’ve heard it causes problems with legitimate posts (a lot more legitimate posts coming through once it’s deactivated). Shame, I absolutely love this thing, but we’ll see how everything fares.
