Always Groom For Jello

Just got back from the gym. Did weights instead of my usual running, you know, cause of that knee injury I’ve been bitchin about non-stop. Dude, I am jello right now, I kid you not. I used to be able to do much heavier lifting back in undergrad, I’ve really lost a lot of muscle mass.

I’d still rather do cardio personally, but can one do cardio without using one’s legs? I doubt it. Can’t wait for May 1st…stupid 1.5 months.

    Can’t, tried the bike, just made it worse. It isn’t Runner’s Knee with cartilage problems where it’s the impact of the foot on the ground that causes pain, it’s a tendon problem where it’s inflamed and rubbing up against the knee. So can’t move it at all.

    do you really like exercise or going to the gym?

    I don’t like exercise or even going to the gym, but if I had a treadmill in my apartment, I would definitely put it to use. I enjoy running, it has its perks:

    I feel better the rest of the day, food tastes better, my sleep is much better, and the best part, I find its an “escape”. I just put on my headphones and listen to music and just think, it’s quite refreshing mentally.

    As for the walk, I wish it was a cure for my knee, but I’ve told not to put too much strain on it, and walking/running will do that.
