Sushi? Ole!

I have been eating out all the time, it’s great, especially since I’m such a lazy cook.

So yesterday I went to Blue Fin Sushi in Porter Exchange with Larkin and Manz. Finally huh? It’s only a 5 minute walk from my place for a great sushi place. Oh the memories…especially the SVU (inside joke, I spit out water…twice).

Today the six of us went over to Ole Mexican Grill, this place is amazing. Honestly, if you get a hankering for some good Mexican food, head over to this restaurant. I got the Tacos de Cangrejo (bite size crab meat tacos) as an appetizer, which were long, crispy, crab meat filled taco-type cigars on a bed of beans. Nothing like crab rangoons if you’re thinking that. For the entree I went with the Robalo Asado (pan seared sea bass). I can honestly say that this was the best sea bass I have ever had, it was essentially perfectly made on top of a small bed of polenta. Supposedly they have stupendous margaritas, but I can’t vouch for that personally.

After dinner I drove over with Thomas and Garfield to Toscanini’s in Central Square. Unlike last time when I had the kulfee ice-cream, I opted for the malted chocolate and burnt caramel this time. I just wish this place was closer to the T, ah well, whenever I’m in the neighborhood this is the place to stop for ice-cream. Shame the one in Harvard Square closed down (at least I think it did).
