Samaritan

So last week a buddy came up from VA, hung out with him for a bit. Got some shawarmas and some Christina’s Ice-Cream. I’m trying to get him to move to Boston, just like all the rest of my friends (I’m looking at you Letters, Squire, and Deeds…), we’ll see. He did love the city though, so who knows, maybe next summer. I’ll keep at it.

Friday night I hung out with Bets at Pathryn’s place, hadn’t seen her and the gang for a bit. That was fun, gotta love geek parties, plus made some plans with a couple folk there to see Ween this November. But seriously, we did discuss the Monty Hall Problem and Internet social networks, literally just sitting around shootin’ the shit. It was fun because it was in the middle of conversations about drunk freshman throwing microwaves and recipes about vodka cake and biting girl’s melons.

Saturday was Patryan’s birthday celebration at her place. Let me tell you, her and her roomie make the best dip ever. She made two different kinds, one was spinachy and the other was bean/cheesy stuff. I wish I had some right now… Plus I finally got to see her place, especially considering I almost moved in with them a couple months ago.

This past Wednesday I got kinda annoyed, the Blonde Redhead concert at The Roxy got canceled. This information was emailed and voicemailed the morning of, fudge. Ruined my night, had plans to go catch em with a buddy, especially considering I bought the tickets literally two months ago. I’m going to wait and see if they reschedule the concert since that’s an option Ticketmaster gave me, refund now or wait and reuse the tickets.

Tomorrow I’m running the Samaritan’s 5K Roadrace in Boston, so wish me luck and hope that I don’t die, since I’m currently a food vampire. Shouldn’t be too bad, I’m more disturbed about waking up so early on a Saturday.

Well if you die it will give us a reason to come to Boston… Not sure about the move though…

Good to know my death is welcome. Remind me to take you off my will and life insurance.
