23 is upon us, let us rejoice… OK, I’m done. Honestly, even numbered years have been a downer for me, I really wasn’t looking forward to this year, but time is a dimensional structure that waits for no man, well, maybe Marty McFly.
So the New Years was hectic, not only because of the trip, but also because of the intense desire of all my organs to simultaneously perform a coup d’état on my body. Luckily they did not succeed since I had one thing on my side… time. I guess it does come in handy every now and then.
I headed down to New York to bring in the ‘08 with some friends, long drive, but friends are always worth it… and NY pizza, that too is always worth it. Met some new people that I’m hoping to stay in touch with as well, they seemed nice enough, but my first impressions are almost always lacking (as many or most of you reading this can vouch for), so maybe staying in touch may not be a two-way street.
Now if I could just get rid of the forsaken cough following me like toilet paper on the underside of one’s shoe.
