Polishing The Chrome
I started using Google Chrome yesterday and Oh-My-Gawd is it snappy. I’ve been a Firefox fanatic, but my new default browser is now Google Chrome. I do miss my Adblock Plus though, but there is a proxy adblock workaround for GC that I may mess around with later. Good thing extensions and scripts are forthcoming for GC eventually, but then again, Google Talk has had SIP interoperability announced since its release in August 2005.
GC Pluses for me:
- Big fan of the fast javascript, BIG fan.
- Multiple processes per tab (bye-bye website and plug-in crashes, albeit rare if any in Firefox).
- Better memory management (even though initial use is higher, but I don’t care, I’ve got tons).
- Very snappy.
