Youngest Country
Two more days, two more days. Well the time is finally here. My younger sister and I planned this about a year and half, maybe two years ago, a trip in the summer after she graduates. We solidifed the plans about six months ago and now we fly out this Sunday.
We’re headed to New Zealand for two weeks… it’s the winter over there, no more heat! Our plan is to arrive in Auckland, go up hitting four more cities, and then fly back via Christchurch. The entire time eating (a lot), sleeping (a lot), and reading (a lot). I can’t wait! Got a many many hour layover in Los Angeles, but I booked a hotel room, so at least that’ll be a good pit stop pre-Trans Pacific flight.
Gonna bungy jump (that’s how New Zealandars spell it, they invented it you know) too. Dunedin has Cadbury World, so we’re definitely going to stop over there (US Cadbury is still junk btw), buy a lot of chocolate, check out the chocolate waterfall (I kid you not!), and end up in the hospital because of too much sugar. Will try and get a Lord of the Rings tour in too if we can. Maybe hit on some Maori girls and see my sister laugh at my rejections, good times…
I’ll try to keep my Facebook and/or Twitter uptodate, but we’ll see how often I can get access to the net over there. Personally I just wanna take a video of the coriolis effect, I bet it’s way cooler over there.
